Meet MASH! <br/><br/>Mash (aka Mashed Potato) is 4 months old and 20.6 lbs. Best guess on breed is a shepherd mix + many other breeds! He’s a typical island dog Sato!<br/><br/>We named him Mash because his coloring looks like a mashed potato and also because “Do You Love Me?” by the Hollies! Yes, yes, we do! Mash is really such a sweet boy who is all tail wags and kisses.<br/><br/>He is great with other dogs and is currently being fostered with several other dogs of varying ages and sizes currently and is good with them! <br/><br/>He’s also great with kids!<br/><br/>Energy wise, he had medium to high energy (6-7 on a scale of 1-10). He’d be a great walking or light hiking buddy!<br/><br/>He has seen a veterinarian and is appropriately vaccinated. He’s ready to go!<br/><br/>***Mash is currently being fostered in Puerto Rico and will fly to Annapolis first week of June! FlyDogzPR's Adoption Policy
FlyDogzPR upholds a thorough adoption process. The steps are as follows: 1) The potential adopter fills out a detailed adoption application for a specific animal. 2) FlyDogzPR reviews the application and deems the application suitable for the animal. 3) If deemed a suitable home, FlyDogz contacts the potential adopter to schedule a virtual interview and home check during which time the potential adopter can ask questions about the animal and FlyDogz can further determine if the home is a good fit. 4) If FlyDogz wishes to proceed, references are contacted and the adopter’s veterinarian is called for past pet records and a reference. 5) If the potential adopter is cleared to adopt, a meet and greet with the animal (either in person or virtual) can be scheduled and if the adopter confirms he/she wishes to proceed and adopt the animal, then arrangements are made for contract to be signed, payment made, and animal to be given to the adopter.
