Mary Jane - Chiweenie Cuties's Story

Fireworks aren't the only exciting thing abut July.. check out all of our chiweenie cuties for some heart stopping adorableness! Mary Jane - the only girl - is here to steal the show just in time for some summer fun! She has been vetted, spayed, microchipped, and has received a clean bill of health from our vet. All that's left to do is find her the perfect permanent address! Please read on for her story, and for instructions on how to request an application for her! Please also be on the lookout for her brother who are also available!

Here is what we know about MARY JANE:

- Mary Jane was born on 4.5.26 and is about 12 weeks old now. She weighs @ 5lbs now.

- Mary Jane and her siblings are chihuahuas and may have some doxie mixed in there too. They are absolutely adorable. They will definitely be under 20lbs full grown.

- Mary Jane (and her siblings) were taken into rescue as very young pups. Since then, all have been thriving and receiving lots of TLC. They are ready to be adopted into forever families now.

- Mary Jane and her siblings are very much still babies, so they will need a family up to the challenges and excitement of puppyhood who will help these cuties grow into the best dogs they can be. They are tiny but mighty, and we think they will do really well with proper enforcement on things like housebreaking, crate training, leash walking, etc.

- Mary Jane is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and has received a clean bill of health.

- Mary Jane and her siblings share a foster home with other dogs and get along great with them. They would do just fine as the only dogs in their new homes, but also could live well with another friendly pup.

- Mary Jane and her siblings haven't been directly exposed to cats, but we think with a proper introduction they would be just fine with them. Most cats will be larger than they are!

- Mary Jane and her siblings are tiny, and small in stature as well. As a result, we think they would do best with older children 8+ who could safely manage them and are old enough to understand doggy boundaries. All of them are playful and well socialized and love to be held.

- Because Mary Jane is so tiny, she is easy prey for lots of wildlife out there. She definitely can't be left unattended while outside, but would love to have some supervised playtime in a nice fenced in yard!

- We would love to see Mary Jane go to a home with small dog and/or breed experience, but welcome all applicants.

What we love about Mary Jane: She is the only girl in the whole litter so she sure is special!

Is Mary Jane the one for you? If so, she's got her doggie bags packed and is ready to make her way home to you!

Mary Jane's adoption fee is $650! That covers all of her vetting and care up until the point of adoption.

If interested, please reach out to Brittany at Brittany.pacne@gmail.com and she will break down the adoption process for you and send you an application link!

*Paws & Claws New England, a/k/a Paws and Claws Rescue is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization made up of volunteers and fosters who devote their time and love to help save homeless dogs and cats.
