Marvin is Looking For: His forever home! Through no fault of his own, this handsome boy ended up in the shelter. He is full of fun, young dog energy and is ready to have his own humans to trot alongside on sniffy walks, romps in local parks, and all the adventures they can dream up! Exploring all the toys sounds great too, as well as some delicious kibble and a cushy dog bed.
Most of all, though, he wants to know he's safe and loved and under his own roof every time the sun goes down. In exchange, he promises adoring gazes, cuddles, and loyalty for all his days.

What My Foster Says About Me: 'Marvin is such a happy, friendly, and sweet boy with an adorable smile and floppy ears!

He walks well on the leash and doesn't pull much. He has developed an interest in birds and is learning how to be redirected so he doesn't pull on the leash to chase them.

He has done well meeting new dogs and loves running around with them at the local dog park.

He is great in the crate and sleeps through the night. Sometimes he whines when he sees me walking around but quickly settles and doesn't bark to get my attention.

He is a quick learner and food motivated so working on his "sit" is fun for him. With a treat in hand and some guiding Marvin will "down". Also, we have been working on "come", "leave it", and "off". Although, these commands are a work in progress, Marvin is making strides each day!

Marvin enjoys playing with chew toys especially any ball type toy that squeaks, rope toys, and stuffed animals. Also, he likes any long lasting, highly digestible treat such as yak cheese. He enjoys playing tug-of-war with my resident dog. He has been introduced to puzzle toys and food dispensing toys (ex: Kong Wobbler). He is understanding how they work and how fun they can be!

He is a happy and gentle boy when meeting new people and immediately shows them how affectionate he is! He is such a wonderful boy who will bring so much joy to anyone seeking to make him part of their family.'
