I'm an young adult male Collie/Pyrenees/German Shepherd?? mix. I love being active and enjoy learning new tricks and going on walks and runs. I get along great with other dogs and I love asking other dogs to play with me. I'm friendly with kids.<br/><br/>I'm very friendly and love greeting my humans when they get home and love meeting new people. I love learning and will work hard on getting a treat as long as the treat is something I'm into, because I reserve the right to be picky. I'm very well potty trained and I will ask to be let out if I need to go. Like any young dog, I need mental and physical stimulation. I'll one who will ask you to play with me. I'm very smart and I know sit, lay down, and shake. <br/><br/>I prefer to not be in a crate because it makes me nervous. I am fully potty trained and can be trusted to free roam at night and when my humans are away without issues. <br/><br/>The best kind of home for me is a home that can give me the active days I need, either through lots of outside time and long walks or through lots of challenging learning. I love being with other dogs and meeting new people and a home that can give me both would be ideal. I would do best in a home without cats.<br/><br/>Marvey is fixed, microchipped, and current on vaccinations appropriate for his age.<br/><br/>Marvey was successfully treated for Heartworm before coming into rescue and has now tested negative. Because he had Heartworm, he will need year-round heart-worm preventatives for his lifetime.<br/><br/>Adoption Fee: $500 + applicable tax<br/><br/>Training Requirement: Obedience Level 1/Basic Manners Recommended<br/><br/>MEET ME/ADOPT ME: If you'd like to arrange a meeting or begin the adoption process, please fill out an adoption application by visiting https://www.twincitiespetrescue.org/adopt/ or clicking "adopt me!". We can only rescue as many animals as available foster homes. Please consider saving the life of an animal in need and become a volunteer foster home today. To become a foster, fill out a dog or cat foster application on the Twin Cities Pet Rescue website: www.twincitiespetrescue.org . There is little to no cost to foster an animal. Twin Cities Pet Rescue provides its foster families with food, supplies, and veterinary care for its animals. All you need to do is supply the love!<br/><br/>PLEASE NOTE: Twin Cities Pet Rescue will consider adoption applicants from many parts of the country. However, preference will always be given to applicants within 100 miles of the Twin Cities area, which includes parts of Wisconsin.
