Meet Marty! <br/><br/>Marty is a 5-year-old, 55-pound Standard Poodle who is every bit the sweet, easy-going gentleman you could hope for. This handsome guy is affectionate, well-mannered, and just an absolute joy to have around.<br/><br/>Marty walks beautifully on a leash and is an excellent car rider—he hops right in, settles down, and enjoys the ride. He’s incredibly affectionate and even gives the sweetest hugs like a human! <br/><br/>Marty is doing all of his potty business outside, sleeps quietly on a dog bed in his foster’s bedroom, and gets along wonderfully with the resident dog. He’s also a perfect gentleman at the groomer, making him a pretty easy guy all around. He definitely loves having his person around and would love for someone to stick close so he can spend more time sharing the love he has to give! He also seems to be scared of kitties. <br/><br/>If you’re looking for a loving, well-mannered companion who is happy to go wherever you go and give you plenty of hugs along the way, Marty might just be your guy! Included in his adoption fee is: microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, heartworm testing and his neuter scheduled through the rescue. Puppy Mill Rescue Team 's Adoption Policy
ADOPTION POLICIES The Puppy Mill Rescue Team’s dogs are placed into adoptive homes within 60 miles of the foster home. We have foster homes in Rochester, NY, Buffalo, NY, and Macedonia, OH. When applying for a specific dog please check the profile to see where the dog is located. If you are not in this area and are looking to adopt, we recommend that you visit our Rescue Partners area or Petfinder.com to locate a rescue in your area. A legally binding Adoption Agreement must be signed at the time a dog is placed. The adoption donation varies and is included in the dog’s description on the website as well as in the Adoption Agreement. Adoption donations are not negotiable and payment must be made in full prior to or at the time of the placement of the dog. Please read prior to submission of an application for adoption. All potential homes must complete our adoption process which includes an application, meet and greet, home inspection and veterinary reference. Applicants must provide veterinary references if they have previously owned a pet and contact veterinary facilities to authorize release of their records to a PMRT representative upon request. Applicants who rent their homes must verify that they are permitted to have a dog and provide a landlord contact number on the adoption application. Landlords will be contacted in every case, no exception. The primary adopter must be at least 21 years old. We are solely committed to the dogs accepted into the rescue. We want to find them loving, permanent homes and go to great lengths to place the right dog into the right family. We reserve the right to decline any adoption based on what we feel is in the best interest of the dog.
