Meet Martian!<br/><br/>Straight from another galaxy (okay...our local shelter ), Martian landed in rescue after being confiscated from a difficult situation. When he first touched down, he was scared, shut down, and unsure if Earthlings could be trusted. But with a little love and patience, this tiny extraterrestrial has transformed into the sweetest, happiest little sidekick.<br/>Martian is approximately 4-5 years old, weighs about 7-8 pounds, and is a perfectly petite Yorkie with a personality thats truly out of this world.<br/>This little space explorer gets along with everyone in the galaxy—dogs big and small, cats, and even reptiles! His dream mission would include another playful pup to help him continue building confidence and discovering just how wonderful life on Planet Earth can be.<br/>Martian is a certified Velcro alien who believes his human is his home planet. He wants to accompany you on every adventure, whether its a trip across town or a mission to the couch. Because of the hardships he experienced before rescue, he does struggle with separation anxiety and gets very sad when his humans blast off without him. For that reason, were looking for a home thats not an apartment, where his vocal distress wont cause issues.<br/>He's mostly potty trained, but since he was neutered later in life, he may leave a few mission markers in new environments. (Lets be honest...he's also a Yorkie. If you know, you know.)<br/>Now safely orbiting in foster care, Martian has discovered the simple joys of playing with dog friends, chasing toys, and soaking up all the love he missed out on. His favorite way to end each day? Docking atop the blankets as the little spoon. A home that welcomes bedtime cuddles is absolutely mission critical.<br/>If you're looking for a loyal copilot who will love you to the moon and back, Martian is ready to make your heart his forever home.
