Martha Boxer Mix New Orleans, LA

Meet Martha, affectionately known as Bella during her time at the shelter. Martha is a stunning brindle boxer mix with a heart of gold. At 40 pounds and 20 inches tall, she's just the right size for cuddles on the couch or leisurely strolls around the neighborhood. Martha is a laid-back pup with a penchant for occasional play sessions with her foster siblings and prefers a home with no cats. She excels on a leash, is fully house and crate trained, and doesn't bark much. Martha is a lover, not a barker, and she adores snuggling up with both humans and furry friends alike. Currently undergoing treatment for heartworms, Martha is on her way to a clean bill of health. If you're in search of a devoted companion who's ready to fill your life with love, Martha would be thrilled to meet you!

**Please do not use the "Introduce Yourself" feature. The information needed to determine if you might be a match for one of our animals can only be found on our application. An inquiry, question, or introduction through Petfinder is NOT an application. All known details about our animals are posted on their profile and updated daily. Other info would be discussed in detail with the foster during the application review process. Due to the number of introductions/questions received (hundreds daily) we ask you submit an application on our website (that application can be used for any dog with Take Paws Rescue).

The adoption fee for adult dogs covers age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, spay/neuter if not yet performed, heartworm test & appropriate heartworm treatment by the rescue's vet. All dogs in our care are also kept up-to-date on HW/Flea Prevention. Please see our website for more information.

2022 Adoption Fee Scale for non-benefactor animals:
Puppies under 12 months - $350
Dogs over 12 months - $250


*Take Paws Rescue saves dogs from high-kill shelters in Southeast Louisiana, owner surrenders, and discarded dogs with uncertain futures. All of our animals live in foster homes where they are socialized, and well cared for. An application will be required to make sure it’s the perfect match!
