We didnt have a crate, carrier, or even a leash with us. The only thing we had was a Marshalls shopping bag, so thats exactly how he made his way to safetyand how he got his name.<br/><br/>Despite whatever hardships he endured before coming to rescue, Marshall has never stopped smiling. Our favorite thing about him is how he tilts his head to listen to you!!!<br/><br/>Today, just a few short weeks later, Marshall has already grown to 25 pounds and continues to thrive. We believe hes a Terrier mix, although those adorable short legs have us wondering if theres a little Dachshund mixed in too. Whatever his breed may be, one thing is certain: hes absolutely irresistible.<br/><br/>Marshall is wonderful with dogs, cats, children, and every person he meets. He has the kind of temperament that rescue groups dream about findingeasygoing, affectionate, resilient, and genuinely happy to be alive.<br/><br/>What we do know about Marshalls past is that he likely spent much of his life confined. When we rescued him, his nails were extremely overgrown, suggesting he wasnt getting walks, exercise, or the chance to simply be a dog. Thats why were looking for a family that will give him the life he deservesa life filled with adventures, walks, car rides, new experiences, and plenty of love.<br/><br/>Marshall is still filling out physically, and we expect he may reach around 30 pounds. Watching him transform has been incredible, and we cant wait to see how handsome he becomes as he continues to gain weight, confidence, and muscle.<br/><br/>Most of all, Marshall deserves a family that will cherish him as much as we do.<br/><br/>If youre looking for a loyal companion with a heart of gold, Marshall may be your perfect match.<br/><br/>Marshall survived being abandoned.
