Marshall's Story
Meet Marshall!

If happiness had four legs and a wagging tail, it would be Marshall! This adorable 1-year-old, 11-pound Poodle mix is always smiling and ready to brighten your day. With his soft, velvety coat, endless enthusiasm, and heart full of love, Marshy is the kind of dog who wants to be wherever his people are.

Marshall is an expert kitchen supervisor and firmly believes quality control is an important job. If youre cooking, hell happily volunteer as your official taste tester—and hell turn on those irresistible puppy eyes in hopes youll agree! Hes also convinced that every meal should include him, so keeping snacks and tempting treats out of reach is a must.

When hes not keeping an eye on dinner, Marshall loves spending time outdoors, going for walks, romping around with his dog friends, exploring the yard, taking cozy naps, and, of course, soaking up all the cuddles he can get. After a good play session, hes more than happy to curl up beside you and relax.

Marshall can be a little vocal when meeting new people, but it doesnt take long before his friendly personality shines through. Offer a soft voice, crouch down, and let him come to you, and youll quickly be rewarded with a wiggly, happy little guy. Hes a bit more cautious around men at first, but patience, treats, and letting him set the pace help him warm up beautifully.

Hes house-trained and lets you know when he needs to go outside by waiting at the door. Marshall is also doing well with crate training. He may protest with a few yelps at first, especially if he can hear people or other dogs without being able to see them, but he settles quickly. A tasty treat makes heading into his kennel much easier! Because he can be vocal in those situations, apartment living may not be the best fit.

Marshall already knows his name, sit, wait (unless food is involved!), no, and is making great progress with come. Like any young dog, hell benefit from continued training as he grows into the best companion he can be.

One thing Marshall is certain about: dogs are FUN! He absolutely loves playing with canine friends and would thrive with another playful dog in the home. He plays enthusiastically and can sometimes be a little rude by nipping at legs or faces during play, but he responds well when other dogs tell him to settle down. He gets along with both large and small dogs, though he seems especially fond of smaller playmates.

Marshall has also lived successfully with cats and would likely do well with dog-savvy feline friends who dont mind an eager pup looking for a new best friend. Hes wonderful with children, including little ones, making him a great candidate for an active family.

One of Marshalls sweetest habits is climbing into your arms to relax while rubbing at his face. When he wants attention, he isnt shy about gently placing a paw on your hand to remind you hes there. He also loves greeting his favorite people each morning with an enthusiastic tail wag, happy smile, and plenty of excitement. Dont be surprised if he gives your face a curious sniff followed by a quick kiss!

Marshall is also a world-class food enthusiast. If theres food within reach, hell assume it was left there just for him! Bathroom trash cans, unattended snacks, and anything edible should stay safely out of reach because this clever boy loves discovering treasures and proudly bringing them to you with his tail wagging.

Marshalls perfect home is one that can match his playful spirit while continuing to build his confidence and training. Hed love an active family, another friendly dog to romp with, and people who appreciate a goofy, affectionate pup who wants nothing more than to be included in everything they do.

If youre looking for a joyful, cuddly best friend with a playful heart, a permanent smile, and enough love to fill your home, Marshall cant wait to meet you!
