Marsha German Shepherd Dog Mix Bellingham, WA

Hi, my name is Marsha! Looking for a calmer middle aged gal, Marsha is it!

She has been enjoying outings out of shelter with our volunteers and she knows how to ride in a car, comes when her name is called and the volunteers said "She took us back to the car when she was ready to go! She didn't want to get out of the car when we got back so I gave her pets and treats until she was ready to head back in and finish her pup cup in her kennel ??"

-Personality: Exuberant, smart, active
-Can Live with Kids: Unknown history - slow and supervised introductions recommended.
-Can Live with Cats: Unknown history - slow and supervised introductions recommended.
-Can Live with Dogs: No thanks, Marsha is quite uncomfortable around other dogs.
-Can do Apartment Living: Possibly, with daily exercise and stimulation to meet her needs
-Potty Trained: Appears to be
-Bite History: No
-Positive Reward Based Obedience Classes Required: Not required
-Energy Level: Medium/High
-Needs Medical Procedure Before Going Home: Yes, spay/MC

Meet Marsha - a super intelligent German shepherd in need of a home, Marsha is smart, eager to please, and already has a repertoire of tricks she's ready to show off (ie. sit, shake, lay down, catch etc). While we don't require she goes into a home with a shepherd experienced adopter, we always recommend doing plenty of research on breed specific behavior and what you can do to provide Marsha with the best possible life moving forward. Marsha was surrendered by her owner due to their sickness, we were not provided much of information on her but she has not shown us any concerning behaviors whilst in shelter, she is 7 years old and appears healthy :)
