Please come to see us and meet all of the dogs. We DO NOT do "first come, first serve" adoptions, so it is NOT necessary for you to arrive early. We encourage you to come later in the afternoon as we often have a large crowd at 2pm.

NO applications will be reviewed or considered before the IN-PERSON meet & greet takes place with ALL of your household members and any other dogs you may have. Additionally, we DO NOT do same day adoptions.

My name is Marsha I am a female 18- month- old hound dog.
I was brought to a high kill shelter as a stray last July. Unfortunately I missed the last two trips to New Jersey. On the first trip my foster family's car wouldn't start the day the rescue was leaving and I couldn't get to the shelter. On the next trip the foster family was away and there was nobody to bring me to the shelter on the day the rescue was leaving. Thank goodness I was with a wonderful family in my foster home.
I get along with other dogs and cats. and all children. I have been spayed and I am housebroken. I would probably do best with a fenced in yard because sometimes my nose gets ahead of me and I like keep going when I get a good scent. I'm a happy-go-lucky girl and an overall goofball. I would make a great addition to most families. Hope to see you soon..
