Marnie Michaels's Story

Meet Marnie: A Sweet Girl Who's Ready to Blossom

Meet Marnie Michaels, a 6-month-old Cocker Spaniel and Cavalier King Charles mix. Can we say dream combination?! Marnie is a sweetheart with nothing but love to give.

She is a little shy at first, and that's okay. She likes to sit back, watch, and decide whether you're her kind of person. Once she's made up her mind, the real Marnie comes out, and she is a total snuggle magnet. Her favorite spot is right on your chest, where she'll melt into a warm, fluffy puddle and stay as long as you'll let her.

She's also very food motivated, which makes her a star student. A few tasty treats and some patience go a long way with this girl, and she'll quickly learn that new people and new experiences are worth getting excited about.

Marnie is still learning how to be social with other dogs. She's shy at first but is learning to play, and she's making progress every day. She would do best in a home with one other confident dog who can show her the ropes and help her come out of her shell.

Marnie at a glance:
-6 months old
-Cocker Spaniel and Cavalier King Charles mix
-Spayed and microchipped
-Current on vaccines and preventatives

Marnie is looking for a loving family who will give her the time and confidence she needs to blossom. Orphan Annie's Neonatal Rescue's Adoption Policy
Potential Adopters must first submit a written application. A member of our team does a preliminary check of the application for any red flags such as pet allergies or no permission to have pets with renters. We then call references, vet practices for insight on the potential adopter. We determine if the animal they are interested in will be a good fit for their life and their environment. We then set up in person meet and greets. We do not do same day adoptions at adoption events. We must have time to properly evaluate the application. We do not do meet and greets without an approved adopter. If the meet goes well, and the animal is fixed, microchipped, vaccinated, and healthy, they can take the animal after fee is paid and contract is signed.
