MARLA's Story

PICTURES COMING SOON

Marla is an old soul who has had a rough start despite being in rescue since she was about 3 months of age. She came to us by way of a foster home with another rescue who was concerned for her because she was the regular target of bullying by the other dogs in the home. As a result of her previous dog interactions she is definitely apprehensive with new dogs but has settled in very well with the laid back variety in her new foster home. She loves cats and sometimes you might even call her cat like in her demeanor. She is crate trained but doesn’t need to be, she is very housebroken, she is a great traveler although sometimes a little hesitant to get in and she is a dream on leash. Due to bullying in her previous home, it is recommended that she be fed separate from other dogs. Marla is about 2yrs, about 50lbs, and believed to be a Boxer / Lab mix with an adorable underbite. Adoption fee $250

If you would like to meet MARLA please complete an application for adoption, copy and paste this link into your browser

https://fs17.formsite.com/adoptionscc/form1/
Any vaccinations/boosters due after adoption is finalized will be the new owner's responsibility. All animals are current at time of adoption but in some cases a booster series is required or a vaccine cannot be given due to age and cannot be completed prior to adoption

Our adoptable animals come to us from various sources, the most common being from an animal shelter who is unable to handle their physical or mental needs in the shelter setting but believe with the appropriate care, they can become adoptable.
