Maris is a gorgeous Plott Hound mix, around 5 years old and 46 pounds, who came to us as a stray.<br/><br/>Maris is an easygoing, social girl with a constantly wagging tail who genuinely enjoys being around people. She loves going for walks, spending time outside and tagging along to see what everyone is up to. She'd make a wonderful walking buddy, but she's just as happy simply being included in the day.<br/><br/>She has a nice independent streak and doesn't need to be the center of attention every second, but don't mistake that independence for being aloof—Maris has a wonderfully loving side and enjoys her people.<br/><br/>Maris has done well with other dogs she's met and showed very little interest during her visit to the cat room.
