MARILYN is around 5 years old & weighs just under 50#! The perfect little "mini Husky" mix, with DNA test results included. MARILYN is as sweet as they come! MARILYN is housetrained, cratetrained & rides great in the car! She walks well on her leash + harness, but little or not...shes still a Husky & she loves to run! A runner would be the ideal adopter for little MARILYN & we are including a CaniCross gear set-up with her adoption to get MARILYN & her new BFF started off on the right paw! Shes already learning how to use it in her foster home & will be a pro in no time at all. MARILYN is super smart.

MARILYN also loves the water - lakes, creeks, rivers...she loves to explore & play in them all! MARILYN is very friendly with everyone she meets, while maintaining her independent Husky nature. She also enjoys a good cuddle session & though she can be a "little bit bossy" with the other kids, MARILYN gets along great with other fun & friendly dogs! MARILYN has a very high prey drive, so no kitty cats (or small, furry pocket pets) for this girl & any human children must be old enough to respect the pup.

MARILYN is currently in an NMDOG foster home located in Colorado Springs, CO enjoying all of the awesomeness Colorado has to offer the Dogs. She is loving it & if we have our way, MARILYN will become a permanent CO resident, where she can live her very best life with a great forever Family (or a BFF single parent would be great for her too). MARILYN is an amazing companion with a zest for adventure, a beautiful singing voice & so much love to give! MARILYN also comes with full NMDOG post-adoption support, to set you all up for success!

ALL NMDOG ADOPTION FEES ARE CURRENTLY WAIVED & all of our approved placements include: a full medical & behavioral clearance prior to adoption & a complimentary vet wellness check. Our dogs come with all of the supplies they need to get started on a trial adoption in their new home & more! All adopted dogs also receive other free or discounted goodies & services from many of our awesome community partners.  

NMDOG doesn't cut any corners when it comes to the care & placement of our dogs. When a dog enters the NMDOG program, they are guaranteed to receive the very best of care. They are (at the very minimum) spayed or neutered, UTD on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped, dewormed, heartworm tested + they are currently on heartworm & flea/tick preventative. Due to the nature of our work, many of the dogs we rescue need much more extensive care before they are cleared for adoption. We also offer hands-on continued training support as needed, for all of our dogs (& their peeps!) at no additional charge!
