Marigold's Story

Meet Goldie!

Goldie is a 7-month-old Beagle & English Springer Spaniel mix with a nose for adventure and enough personality to keep you laughing every single day.

Goldie is a true sporting dog through and through. She's active, intelligent, and always on the lookout for her next great adventure. Whether she's sniffing every inch of the backyard, splashing through puddles, or investigating something she probably shouldn't be, Goldie approaches life with endless curiosity. She's just a tiny bit mischievous (okay... maybe more than a tiny bit ), but that's all part of her charm!

As a natural hunter, Goldie has a STRONG prey drive and occasionally likes to present her people with "gifts" from the yard. She means well... even if her idea of a present isn't exactly what you had in mind.

When the adventures wind down, Goldie is a sweet, affectionate girl who LOVES spending time with her people and playing with her canine friends. She's housebroken, crate trained, and absolutely loves other dogs, making her a wonderful companion for a home with a playful pup.

Goldie also thinks cats are waaay too interesting, so she'd do best in a home without feline roommates.

This smart, goofy girl is looking for an active family that will embrace her adventurous spirit, keep both her mind and body busy, and appreciate all the laughs that come with living alongside a dog who's always finding herself in the middle of her next "important investigation."

Spayed
Vaccinated
Microchipped
Flea & parasite free
On monthly prevention

Interested in making Goldie a part of your family? Two Black Dogs Foundation's Adoption Policy
All adopters MUST fill out an application. We do not respond to inquiries submitted through PetFinder. If you have questions about a specific animal feel free to email us, or send us a message on Facebook. Applications are reviewed in the order they are received. If you are approved to adopt a member of our team will contact you. Meet and greets are set up by appointment only after you’ve been approved. In most cases you are allowed to take your new pet home after your meet and greet, unless the animal is too young to be spayed/neutered, in which case you will sign up to foster-to-adopt. We do not hold animals so please do not apply or set up a meet and greet unless you are ready to leave with your new pet. Any vetting done at your own vet clinic will be at your own expense. Spay/neuter included in adoption fee must be done by one of our local partner vet clinics, and adopter is responsible for arranging transportation. All animals adopted through TBDF are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and parasite free and up to date on their preventions. All cats and kittens are FiV/FeLV tested, all dogs over 6 months of age are heartworm tested and treated if positive.
