Maria's Story

Introducing Maria! 🐾
This teeny tiny girl has already overcome a lot in her short life. Maria was found as a stray suffering from a painful eye infection and brought to the shelter, but thanks to rescue she's now safe and beginning to learn what it means to be loved.
Maria is still a little timid at first, but underneath that shyness is the sweetest little soul. Once she feels safe, she absolutely melts for her people and enjoys gentle affection and quiet companionship. She is adjusting beautifully in her foster home and continues to gain confidence every day.
Maria gets along wonderfully with other dogs and even cats, making her a great companion for a calm, loving home. Because she is so tiny, she would do best with older children who can be gentle with her.
This precious little girl is just looking for a family who will give her the patience, love, and security she deserves after such a rough start.
Don't miss the chance to give Maria the happy ending she's been waiting for.
Submit your application today at www.southcharlottedogrescue.com!

South Charlotte Dog Rescue's Adoption Policy
We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed, permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Animals in our care are spayed or neutered, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. To the extent our finances allow, dogs in the greatest need take priority. Our adoption application is located on our website at www.southcharlottedogrescue.com. We are always available to answer questions via email southcharlottedogrescue@gmail.com or phone (877) 745-SCDR.
