She’s looking for a calm, low-traffic home where she can truly shine as the center of attention. A fenced yard would be ideal for her to safely explore and enjoy the outdoors.<br/>This little lady is fully vetted, potty trained, and highly food motivated—she’ll even dance for treats! Rita adores ear scratches and belly rubs, and once she feels safe, she’ll be your loyal companion for life.<br/>She thrives in the company of women and is selective with some men, so a patient and understanding adopter is key. We do not ship our dogs and require home visits. Must live in area to adopt, will not respond to out of area/country requests. Additionally we require physically fenced yard for dog/pup to play in safely. Exceptions are sometimes made to this requirement but is up to the foster and more often done for the small breed dogs.<br/><br/>All our dogs have been treated with de-wormer; heartworm tested (if age appropriate -7 months or older); treated for fleas/ticks; microchipped; and examined by veterinarian plus given age appropriate vaccinations. We take every effort to ensure the health of the animal and you will receive a copy of all vet work performed at time of adoption. Dogs will be spayed/neutered thru us prior to finalizing any adoption. <br/><br/>We provide information on dogs age and breed based on what we are told by person surrendering dog or vet's best guess.
