MARGARITA's Story

Meet MARGARITA!<br/><br/>Margarita is the sweetest little girl! She is 16.2 lbs and estimated to be about 4 months old as of May 12th! We know for a fact that her mom is a husky mix (we have a photo of them together!). Her father, named Nubz, is a shepherd mix who is the sweetest guy (we are working on rescuing him too)! We expect Rita to be between 40-50 lbs.<br/><br/>She is great with other dogs! So sweet, playful and friendly. Energy wise, despite having a Husky parent, she is somewhere in the middle. Not crazy but definitely has that sweet puppy energy.<br/><br/>She loves to play in the foster's property with toys and likes to run around with other dogs as well.<br/><br/>We think she would be absolutely fine with children given her sweet personality! <br/><br/>**PLEASE NOTE: Rita is currently in Puerto Rico and our plan is to fly her to Annapolis by the end of May 2025! Please note that we can easily ship in cabin with a person to many airports along the East Coast including JFK, EWR, PHL, BWI, DCA and many more! FlyDogzPR's Adoption Policy
FlyDogzPR upholds a thorough adoption process. The steps are as follows: 1) The potential adopter fills out a detailed adoption application for a specific animal. 2) FlyDogzPR reviews the application and deems the application suitable for the animal. 3) If deemed a suitable home, FlyDogz contacts the potential adopter to schedule a virtual interview and home check during which time the potential adopter can ask questions about the animal and FlyDogz can further determine if the home is a good fit. 4) If FlyDogz wishes to proceed, references are contacted and the adopter’s veterinarian is called for past pet records and a reference. 5) If the potential adopter is cleared to adopt, a meet and greet with the animal (either in person or virtual) can be scheduled and if the adopter confirms he/she wishes to proceed and adopt the animal, then arrangements are made for contract to be signed, payment made, and animal to be given to the adopter.
