Margaret is a wonderful companion and protector. She is a laid back couch potato when in the house, but energetic, adventurous and playful when trotting around the yard. She's very young for her age and in great shape because most of her days have been spent outside on the farm. Margaret, by breed, is a naturally loyal dog. While she is probably not cut out to guard livestock, she will definitely protect you, your kids, your property and your cats! She is selectively good with other dogs as she wants to be the alpha. Margaret came into rescue when her family's situation changed and they could no longer have a giant breed dog. She would prefer a house with a fenced yard. Acreage is a plus, since that's what she is used to. But honestly, she'll be happy anywhere as long as there are people to love.
