Meet Maple Bacon!<br/>Maple Bacon is a 2-year-old, 70 lb St. Bernard mix with a heart as big as her paws. She's a confident, affectionate girl who is all about adventure - say the word "car" and she'll do happy feet until it's time to go! <br/><br/>Maple has been settling in with her foster beautifully. She loves people, enjoys cuddles, and has a fun playful side - especially when she gets the big-dog zoomies. She knows "sit" and "shake," and she's been doing great with routines and structure.<br/><br/> In the home:<br/> Dog friendly - plays great with other dogs and enjoys respectful introductions<br/> Kid friendly - has done well with a 4-year-old once she got used to the noise and silly antics<br/> Cats: needs work/management - she has started to stalk the resident cat, but redirects well; she should not be left unsupervised around cats at this time<br/> Resource guarding (mild during her foster home transition) - may guard her empty food bowl or shared water bowl from other pets (not people). This has been manageable with supervision and simple routines.<br/><br/>Maple Bacon is truly a wonderful dog - loyal, fun, and full of personality - and she's going to make an amazing best friend for the right home. <br/><br/>Maple Bacon's adoption fee is $400 plus MN tax which covers her spay, vaccinations, microchip and any additional medical care she may have needed while in the rescue's care. <br/>We are a foster based rescue, we do not house dogs at a facility.
