She was recently surrendered into our care due to a change in her family's situation. The transition has not been easy for this sensitive girl, and she did not adapt well to shelter living. She is now in a foster home, where she is slowly settling into a new routine.<br/><br/>She is anxious and timid when meeting new people, but once she feels comfortable, her loving personality shines through. She is a really nice dog!<br/><br/>This active girl has lots of energy and enjoys running and playing. She has lived with other dogs, cats, and children ranging in age from 1 to 13 years old. She gets along well with other dogs, especially younger ones who can match her playful, exuberant energy.<br/><br/>Maple does not like to be crated and will do best in a home where she is not left alone for long periods on a regular basis, especially as she settles into her new routine. She enjoys her daily walks and walks well with a front hook harness. She would benefit from an active family. A home with a securely fenced yard where she can safely run and play would be a definite bonus.<br/><br/>Gentle and submissive by nature, she needs a loving forever family who will help her feel safe and secure. Elle se trouve maintenant en famille daccueil, ou elle sinstalle progressivement dans une nouvelle routine.<br/><br/>Elle est anxieuse et timide lorsquelle rencontre de nouvelles personnes, mais une fois en confiance, sa nature affectueuse se revele.<br/><br/>Cette chienne active a beaucoup denergie et aime courir et jouer. Elle a vecu avec dautres chiens, des chats et des enfants ages de 1 a 13 ans. Elle sentend bien avec les autres chiens, surtout les plus jeunes qui peuvent suivre son energie joueuse et debordante.<br/><br/>Maple naime pas etre en cage et sepanouira davantage dans un foyer ou elle nest pas laissee seule pendant de longues periodes de facon reguliere, surtout pendant son adaptation. Elle aime ses promenades quotidiennes et marche bien avec un harnais a attache frontale. Elle beneficierait dune famille active. Une maison avec une cour cloturee de facon securitaire ou elle pourra courir et jouer serait un atout certain.<br/><br/>Douce et soumise de nature, elle a besoin dune famille aimante pour la vie qui laidera a se sentir en securite et rassuree.
