Manuel may be a curious puppy, but his favorite place will always be right beside his people.<br/><br/>While his brother is busy investigating the world, Manuel is usually checking to see if there's an open lap, a cozy couch cushion, or someone willing to hand out a few extra treats. In fact, if he spots a treat he can't quite reach, he'll happily let you know he believes it belongs to him.<br/><br/>This sweet boy is incredibly food motivated, which should make training both fun and rewarding. He wasn't nearly as interested in toys as he was in snacks and snuggles, and when the excitement of the day winds down, Manuel transforms into the perfect cuddle buddy.<br/><br/>Manuel has met a cat and was politely curious. When he wasn't quite sure what to make of this strange new friend, he simply backed up and barked rather than reacting aggressively.<br/><br/>Like any young puppy, Manuel is still working on potty training, but he's already making wonderful progress. He's been holding his potty for long stretches, sleeps soundly through the night, and waits until he's outside to do his business. He also settled nicely in both his crate and his foster family's bed.<br/><br/>Sweet, gentle, affectionate, and always ready for a cuddle, Manuel is looking for a family to share treats, naps, and lots of love with.<br/><br/>They were rescued from a high kill shelter in Texas.<br/><br/>Meet and greets are by appointment only. When we do, it will be updated here. This is all the information we have currently.<br/><br/><br/> Approved Applicants may make the adoption fee payment by clicking donate above. Partial adoption fees will not hold a dog.<br/> If upon meeting the dog of your choosing at your scheduled pickup time you find that you aren't a good match, your deposit will be fully refunded.<br/> Adoption fees include vaccines up until time of adoption, microchip, spay/neuter and 1st 30 days of free pet insurance. We are not affiliated with MetLife pet insurance. (you have to sign up for the insurance or it will not go into effect). Adoption fees help cover the medical care of the animals while he or she waits for a new home, as well as food and transportation costs. These fees help to provide care for the other animals in the shelter or rescue group who may have medical bills that are much higher than any possible adoption fee. The money also acts as a donation to help support the organization as a whole, allowing the group to continue its efforts to rescue and rehome pets.<br/> The dogs in our care are fostered in Colorado, Texas, and New Mexico. While all dogs are picked up during our scheduled times, sometimes transport dates change due to unforeseen circumstances. <br/> More questions?
