Mantis's Story
Mantis appears highly placeable and suitable for a family environment, including a multi-dog and multi-child household. She presents as affectionate, adaptable, social, very sweet, playful, and eager to please. Overall temperament observed was very positive. She does very well with both women and men during evaluation and was reported to have done well in her previous adoptive home with 6+ children ranging from toddler age through teenagers.

During her evaluation, she allowed full body handling and petting with no signs of discomfort, fear, or aggression. She appears confident but not dominant and settled appropriately after initial exploration of space. She seems emotionally balanced and social.

She appears likely to bond closely with her people and shows signs she would enjoy physical affection and closeness (“Rottie lean” personality).
