Mango's Story

Meet Mango Available to Adopt/foster/foster to adopt

Name: Mango
Age: 3 years old
Gender: Female
Breed: Mexican Mix
Size: Medium 40+ pounds
Currenlly in Mexico

My name is Mango. When I was just a tiny puppy, my sister Piña and I were found all alone. Our mom was nowhere to be found, so we were brought to a shelter where we grew up surrounded by more than 200 other dogs. Sadly, no one noticed us when we were little… and even now, we are still waiting for someone to choose us.

During our time at the shelter, my sister Piña and I were diagnosed with hip dysplasia. To help us live happy, pain-free lives, we both had hip surgery. The operations were successful and I’m doing very well now — as good as new! I can walk, play, and enjoy life just like any young dog.

Because of my surgery, I won’t be the dog for long jogs, big hikes, or marathon walks, but I absolutely love to play and enjoy exercise on my regular walks. I’m a good girl with a real love for life and a gentle, calm personality. I adore affection, attention, and cuddles, and I get along well with other dogs too.

Shelter life is very busy, and there isn’t much time for the quiet snuggles I love so much. I’m hoping someone will see me and offer me a foster or foster-to-adopt home so I can finally experience life outside the shelter.

Recently a photographer came to visit me. That usually means one thing — I get another chance to search for my golden basket, my forever home. I truly hope someone sees me this time.

Health & Care:
• Vaccinated (including rabies and kennel cough)
• Dewormed
• Microchipped
• Spayed
• Comes with safety harness, collar, and double leash

Let’s get Mango out of the shelter in Mexico and into the loving home she deserves. If you can foster, foster-to-adopt, or adopt, please reach out. She’s ready for her second chance.

If you're interested in Mango, please fill out an adoption or foster application at www.allpawsmatter.ca
