Mango & Benji NEED FOSTER

We need a FOSTER HOME for a pair of 8 yr old male bichon/yorkie mixes. Their owner has a terminal illness, and hopes to re-home them while she is still able to live independently, and have peace of mind to know they’ve gone to a good home. Her home has been sold, and she has moved into a senior living facility. <br/> Mango and Benji are accustomed to using a doggie litter box inside – that was set up when her husband developed health problems and she didn’t want him taking the dogs up/down the stairs. The boys have a dog walker, and they will also do their business when they are outdoors on a walk, so with a little patience, they should be able to be housebroken to the outdoors. They bark when someone knocks at the door, and stop when told to – they then wait for pets, or just go and lay down. Minimal exposure to children, and would probably do best in an adult home. No cat experience. Have been fine with other dogs. Neither one has ever been crated. <br/> Both dogs are neutered, and recently had their vaccinations updated. The dogs have been together their whole lives, are a bonded pair, and we would like to keep them together, so we are looking for a foster home that can take them both. Second Chance will provide food and supplies while you foster. Ideal home would have a secure fenced yard, and a foster that was home much of the time, as that is what they are accustomed to.
