MANGO is a sweet little nugget! She is a Hound mix, around 5 years old & was rescued after being removed from her chain by law enforcement in a scary part of town. She was completely shut down & covered in scars, waiting for someone to save her. Once MANGO joined the NMDOG Family, her adorable little personality began to come alive!
She was tended to by veterinarians, placed in a wonderful Foster home & treated like a treasured fur-friend for the very first time. She deserves all of the good things life has to offer & she longs for her very own FoReVeR home.

MANGO has learned to walk confidently on her leash + harness, but does need ongoing teamwork with her human to overcome some reactive tendencies. MANGOS partnership with her NMDOG trainer will transfer to her FoReVeR Human - setting everyone up for success! & even though MANGO loves having Dog friends outside of the home....she prefers to be your one & only. She enjoys meeting new people & other nice Dogs as long as they are respectful & MANGO has learned how to play-bow, do zoomies & how to PLAY with toys!! She loooves taking them out of her toy box one by one, she loves snuffle mats & she LOVES sniff sniff sniffing alll of the things! Walks are very important to MANGO & her just right Family must be committed to them. MANGOS perfect person will take her for a good enrichment walk, at least once a day!

MANGO would excel in NoseWork activities, providing enrichment, while bonding & building confidence at the same time!
- NMDOG will include a beginners NoseWork class with her adoption + a lifetime of support!

MANGO makes ridiculous little squeaky sounds when shes excited & has the most #SoulFul eyes, as you can see. She is going to make some (very) lucky person a very loyal, loving & faithful friend.
NMDOG is seeking a structured & quiet home for MANGO who will commit to enrichment, training & keeping her safe - a secure yard is at the top of that list! Any human kiddos should be calm & respectful.

ALL NMDOG ADOPTION FEES ARE CURRENTLY WAIVED & all of our approved placements include: a full medical & behavioral clearance prior to adoption & a complimentary vet wellness check. Our dogs come with all of the supplies they need to get started on a trial adoption in their new home & more! All adopted dogs also receive other free or discounted goodies & services from many of our awesome community partners.

NMDOG doesn't cut any corners when it comes to the care & placement of our dogs. When a dog enters the NMDOG program, they are guaranteed to receive the very best of care. They are (at the very minimum) spayed or neutered, UTD on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped, dewormed, heartworm tested + they are currently on heartworm & flea/tick preventative. Due to the nature of our work, many of the dogs we rescue need much more extensive care before they are cleared for adoption. We also offer hands-on continued training support as needed, for all of our dogs (& their peeps!) at no additional charge!
