Mandy! Mixed Breed Oakland, CA

Meet Mandy! This pretty girl is around 10 months old and 45lb. She has the cutest freckles on her! Mandy is very sweet natured, gentle, and mellow for a young dog. As for her breed- she is a mutt. Mutts are great, they tend to have less health issues!
She is currently in a foster home with another dog, and they play very well together. Mandy walks great on the leash, she is not a puller and just walks right next to you. It's really easy to walk her! We rescued Mandy from an overcrowded shelter in the central valley. She was kenneled with multiple dogs together because the shelter was so full and had no space to put all the dogs. She doesn't have food aggression or resource guarding.
Mandy is adjusting pretty well and is smart girl. She is super food motivated, as long as you have treats, she will follow you around. She bonds to her person fast, and she is very loyal. At home, she is a pretty chill girl. She loves to cuddle and is very affectionate. Foster mom works from home a couple times a week, Mandy has been great in regards of staying quiet and calm around the house. When foster home is gone for work, Mandy gets crated, and she is pretty good in the crate. She also sleeps in the crate through the night. Mandy is potty trained house trained. This girl is pretty easy going and just goes with the flow.

Mandy would be a great companion for someone that is looking for a young, sweet natured, mellow girl.
