Meet Mama Elvira

Mama Elvira ended up very pregnant in the shelter where she gave birth. BDRP pulled them from the shelter when the babies were just 2 days old! Elvira raised her puppies with the help of her foster mom. She did a great job! All of her puppies have now found their forever homes. Elvira is almost finished with her heartworm treatment, so she is looking for her forever home now too!
She has done well with the other dogs she has met. She is making great progress on house manners and is a sweet lovable girl!
She is about 1-2 years old and is medium sized at about 40-45 pounds. She has not spent time with cats. She has interacted well with some kids but has not lived with kids.
Our adoption fee includes age appropriate vaccinations, deworming, microchipping and transport expenses. Adoption fee is $450 to help offset travel and medical expenses.
All children at home should be at least age 5 to be approved for adoption!
