We rescued Malt’s mom from a rural shelter we help when she was still pregnant. Thankfully, one of our wonderful fosters brought her into her home so she would have a safe place to have her babies. Malt was born in July, and he is a very sweet little boy. He has completed his veterinary care, so he’s ready to find a family to love.<br/><br/>Malt is a playful boy, and he loves everyone he meets. He likes to play with other dogs, puppy toys and cats too. He loves kids and has been with children as young as 6. He is learning how to walk on a leash, and is almost house trained. <br/><br/>Malt is 11 weeks old and weighs 10 pounds. He is an Australian Shepherd mix and will be about 35 pounds as an adult. He is neutered, vaccinated for rabies, DHPP and Bordetella. He is also microchipped, heartworm negative and is current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.<br/><br/>Malt can arrive in Dewitt, New York on 11/7.
