Hi! My name is Malie and I am from Missouri!
From her foster: Malie is the sweetest little girl who just finds the world a little bit scary right now. She's very friendly, but she's also timid in new situations. Malie tends to freeze and cower towards the ground when she's feeling anxious. As she's gotten more comfortable in her foster home, her cuddly, goofy personality has started to show. She loves to give hugs, cuddle up on the couch, and chew on a good toy.
Malie is friendly with other dogs, but gets a bit nervous meeting on a leash (the world is still a bit scary). She is a bit too shy for long walks right now so she gets her exercise out with indoor playtime with a resident dog. She's generally past a lot of puppy behaviors, although she jumps up occasionally and has a fascination with chewing buckles. She's completely potty trained and does well in her kennel during the workday.
Earning Malie's trust rewards you with endless unconditional love and laughter. She's just looking for a special person to give her a chance to open up.
