Malberian 's Story
Meet Kai — or Kyle from Accounting, if you want to keep things professional. Spoiler: accounting bores him to tears. This under-1-year-old neutered Malberian (fancy speak for husky-shepherd mix with main character energy) is small-medium in size but large in personality, and his big brain needs a job worthy of his talents. He's a dedicated fetch enthusiast, a passionate ice cube connoisseur, and a firm believer that wherever you're going, he's coming too — he's a full-time shadow with intermittent zoomies. He plays well with other dogs, will absolutely try to sit in on your Zoom calls, and sees cats less as enemies and more as tiny coworkers he'd love to befriend (he just wants to play, we promise). He's also very interested in what the kids are up to — in fact, Kyle has already been field tested in a home with a cat, two dogs, and a 9-year-old, and passed with flying colors.
Fair warning: Kyle communicates exclusively through barking. It's not aggression — it's just his language, and he has a lot to say. He is also — and we cannot stress this enough — very high energy. Like, someone-please-give-this-dog-a-purpose high energy. Manners and personal boundaries are concepts he is aware of in the same way he is aware of accounting — technically familiar, largely unbothered. He's still very much learning the ropes of this whole doghood thing, so he's going to look to you for all the guidance — patience and consistency go a long way with this guy. Walks are best with a correction collar to keep him focused, because Kyle is... easily distr— SQUIRREL. ...sorry, where were we? Right. Walks.
Like any good accountant, Kyle takes a little time to warm up to new clients — he can be a nervous guy, and does best with a calm, confident owner who can help him feel safe while he finds his footing. Once he trusts you though? Fully devoted. Looking for a forever family that can keep him mentally stimulated, match his chaotic-good energy, and isn't afraid to be his person.
