Maisy's Story

Looking for an easy going girl, Meet Maisy! 3 yrs, perfect medium sized at 40 lbs smaller framed boxer mix. She’s super cuddly!
Maisy arrived 2 weeks ago from Atlanta, she settled very quickly at her foster. She loves cuddling with her people. She has a lot of fun playing with toys, too. She fetches toys & balls, yes, she brings them back! But, oh how she loves to cuddle! She is housebroken & crate trained. She’s good with kids & dogs, but we’d guess no cats, please.
Often, dogs can be timid of large men, her foster dad is a BIG guy, and she’s in love with him! She’s very well behaved inside. She’s already shown she’s trustworthy to be uncrated. She’s housebroken & crate trained. She would love a fenced yard, but it doesn’t have to be huge. She’s not high energy. She is low key inside & has some zoomies outside. She does need to have leash training, we dog know if her previous owner tied her out of had a yard & never walked her but she is very strong so her foster is trying different tools like Halti & pinch collar. Other than needing leash training, she’s a great family dog or an adventure buddy for someone looking for comfort & company.
We are flexible for meet & greets. **Adoption Process **
Refer to savethetails.org scroll to Foster /Adoption either download the application, save it as a PDF & email it to lisa@savethetails.org or scan it/ email it back.
