Maisie came to us an absolute mess. Her coat was so severely matted and dirty that she had to be shaved very short to start fresh. While her haircut may not be glamorous right now, it's just hair, and it will grow back beautiful with time. What matters most is the sweet girl underneath. Maisie can be a little shy when meeting new people, but she warms up quickly once she realizes she's safe. Give her a chance, and she'll reward you with endless love and devotion. She's crate trained, uses the dog door and is learning that life can be pretty wonderful.
