BIO:
Hey y’all! Maisen here. I’m a fluffy-coated charmer hailing from the Magnificent Mississippi Mutts lineage. Fetching Tails rescued me along with my six equally adorable siblings from a rescue partner in Mississippi. Our litter was found after our mother was hit by a car and we were left to fend for ourselves. Now I’m up north living the good life with a wonderful foster family who is helping me gain the skills and confidence to grow into a good boy and to find the perfect forever family.

I’m a super friendly and sociable puppy always looking to make new friends, both human and canine. My favorite activity is playing with my littermate Maurice and resident dog Linus, an FTF alum. The three of us love to explore together outside and play hide-and-seek around the house. I would love to have a fur sibling in my forever home who will explore with me. When playtime is over, I love nothing more than snuggling up to my foster family for a good cuddle session and belly rub.

At 3 months old, I still have plenty of puppy energy, but I’m very smart and an excellent listener. I walk well on a leash (I can go 2 miles!) and love car rides, especially to get my morning pup cup. With the help of my foster family, I'm mastering essential puppy skills like sitting, laying down, and offering my paw. Foster mom says I’ll be a star student when I start puppy classes. While I love to adventure, I’m still getting used to loud noises, like lawn mowers and vacuums, so I will look to my humans to help me gain confidence when facing scary things out in the world.

Puppies are cute, cuddly and looking for a family to call their own. They need an owner who is home often, and willing to help with training, socializing and housebreaking. They need to be let out often so they can learn to go potty outside. ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS, NO EXCEPTIONS:
*ADOPTION FEE: $450
*Be at least 21 years of age
*Live in a 50-mile radius of Itasca, within the Illinois border
*Have the knowledge and agreement of all adults living in the household
*Have approval from owner of residence (written in lease)
*Have a valid ID with current address (please provide proof of address if ID address is not up-to-date)
*Be approved as a suitable adoptive home by Fetching Tails Foundation
*Be prepared to make a lifetime commitment
*TRAINING IS REQUIRED! THIS PUPPY MUST BE SIGNED UP FOR TRAINING AFTER 14 DAYS OF THE ADOPTION! WE WILL NEED TO SEE PROOF*
