Meet Maia

Maia is a lovely husky who has become our resident dog leadership superstar. She has been helping the shyer dogs get used to walking and playing, and she is doing a great job at it. She is immediately very nurturing toward other dogs. Maia is a little bit reserved at first with people, preferring to get to know you first before being comfortable with your hands all over her. But once Maia warms up to you, which only takes a minute, she is very appreciative of petting and brushing. She also walks nicely on leash. If you are looking for a loving husky who is very well behaved and gentle, she may be your perfect fit. Maia appears to be housetrained.
