Mai

Meet Mai! Mai came to us over a year ago and would not let anyone touch her, especially around her neck and face. Through working with her and getting her jaw fixed (she had been punctured by a boar tusk) she has become quite loving and affectionate. She goes on many adventures (always on leash) and enjoys exploring new places. Mai has great relations with dogs while she is on leash and supervised. When left in an unsupervised situation, she can agitate other dogs which could lead to altercations. Mai is a great hiking and walking buddy, but not recommended at dog parks or unsupervised with other dogs.<br/><br/>We think Mai is bull terrier/whippet mix. Her personality pulls towards the bull terrier side, so someone with knowledge and experience with bull terriers would be a plus for Mai. She is under 3 years old, has lots of energy and personality. She can be easily startled and shy with new people, but she warms up quickly.
