You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. This companion animal is available through the CVRR 'Home to Home' program. All dogs or cats is this program are the property of the current owner/guardian. CVRR makes no guarantees regarding the health or temperament of said animal. All communication regarding this animal must be directed to the posted owner/guradian. CVRR receives no compensation for this listing.Maggie was rescued from a home in Visalia. Our best guess as to her breed; we think she might be a Long-haired Doxie Piebald and Cavalier Spaniel. She's likely 5 to 6 years old, and weighs 12.8 pounds. She is a low energy girl, who sits and watches our other 3 dogs run zoomies around the yard. She is willing to take a walk around the block, although there are times she decides halfway is far enough, and plants herself right where she is! She loves following her person around, whether inside or outside. Maggie does need some time to warm up to strangers, then relaxes when she finds out they'd just like to give her some love pats! She loves to be in my lap, or right by my side while I'm sitting. During nap time, she's right there curled up next to me. She would do best with an adult or two in a calm home. She doesn't care for fetching or tug of war, or other silly dog games, or for that matter, other dogs. She would relish being the only dog in the home. She is house trained, and uses the doggy door.
