Maggie

Maggie is a 7 year old, "low rider" bulldog mix. She has great leash manners, loves riding in the car, doesn't jump, and is a low to medium energy girl. She snorts when she eats and snores when she sleeps but it isn't the least bit annoying.... its far too cute. <br/><br/>Maggie was kept out in the yard in a kennel, constantly, before rescue so her foster mom has spent quite a bit of time helping her increase her stamina on walks. She's gained a lot of improvements in this area. She loves her walks but can't yet handle strenuous hikes, climbs, or runs. Thar doesn't mean she will never be able to do that, just that she needs to work towards this type of exercise, if this is what you're seeking in a companion. <br/><br/>She does have a high prey drive. She will chase cats, squirrels, chickens, and rabbits. Therefore, she doesn't need a home with chickens that free-range or cats.
