Maggie's Story
Maggie is a 40 lb, spayed female, approx. 9-10 years old basset hound/blue heeler mix.

Maggie came from an abusive situation and was shy and anxious when she came to us; but for some reason she loves meeting people. She has really blossomed and has come out of her shell. The anxiety has improved by 95%. She is the gentlest and sweetest girl. All she wants is to be near to and please her human.

Maggie would do best in a quiet home, with perhaps one small dog (not yappy or barky) or cats (she loves cats, probably because they are mostly quiet) Maggie is intimidated by larger dogs so we would not recommend a home with large dogs. Loud noises and sudden movement still startle her sometimes, but she is overcoming that.

She is fully housetrained, and has never had an accident in the house.

Maggie is current on vaccines, fully vetted, with a microchip.

Maggie is a wonderful, sweet dog, very loyal, and will make a great companion. Come meet her…. You will fall in love.

TO MEET OR ADOPT, PLEASE COMPLETE ADOPTION APPLICATION:
https://form.jotform.com/40468849602159

OR

irescueHomelessPets.org/adopt.html
