Maggie

Meet Maggie! Maggie is a 3-4-year-old Labrador / Jack Russell Terrier mix weighing 38 lbs, and she's every bit as sweet as she looks. With her soft, spotty ears and gentle eyes, Maggie just wants what we all do -- to love and be loved. She may be a little tentative at first, but once she feels comfortable, her affectionate side shines through. Maggie greets her favorite people at the shelter with happy enthusiasm, loves going on walks, and enjoys romping around the yard with her toys. She has a mild temperament and she secretly thinks she's a lapdog (and she's not wrong!). Maggie would do best in a calm home without children, or with older kids who understand and respect her need for personal space. With patience and love, Maggie will blossom into a loyal, cuddly companion who will bring so much warmth to her forever family. Could Maggie be the perfect match for you?

The Labrador Retriever is a sweet-faced, lovable, adoring, outgoing, and high-spirited companion. Their eyes glimmer with kindliness and their tail seems to be forever signaling the breed's innate eagerness. Labs are famously friendly. They are companionable housemates who bond with the whole family, and they socialize well with neighbor dogs and humans alike. But don't mistake their easy going personality for low energy: The Lab is an enthusiastic athlete that requires lots of exercise.

The Russell Terrier is upbeat, lively, inquisitive, and friendly. The adorable Russell Terrier looks like a plush toy come to life but is an eager, tireless working terrier. These jaunty little fellows pack lots of personality into a compact body.
