Maggie's Story

Meet Miss Maggie. She was rescued from a horrible illegal backyard breeding hoarding case in Miami, Florida. When she arrived to use, it was clear she had never received affection, care, or love from humans. She likely never enjoyed the inside of a home and spent most her short life in a crate and was forced to use pee pads. She is definitely pee pad trained and has had minimal accidents inside the home. She is doing excellent with using the bathroom outside. She loves to explore a backyard, and is still adjusting to the outside world (She ADORES to take strolls in a doggy stroller.) <br/>She came to us with 3 other small breed babies and they have found a lot of comfort and peace having one another. Although they are not 100% bonded, it is VERY clear, Maggie will need another dog that she can bond with for comfort. She is very loving once she adjusts and sees love in return. She loves to snuggle up on a couch, her dog bed, but definitely always prefers to be near her human or fur companion. She is a total sweetheart and does great with dogs and kids. She has not formally been cat tested, however, she will probably will do just fine with cats as well!
