Maggie - ADOPTED

Maggie is 2 yrs old, and at her ideal weight of 10 lbs. We think she's a lhasa apso / silky terrier mix (but we don't know for sure). Her beautiful soft golden hair is currently in a stylish summer cut. Maggie is a very sweet little pup who just LOVES to snuggle on your lap. <br/><P><br/>She has a lovely disposition, and will do anything to please you. She wants to keep you in her sights at all times.<br/><P><br/>She patiently waits for you to get up in the morning and let her outside. Just say “go pee pee," and she will choose a spot, and then pretty much go there consistently. She will often tell you when she needs to go out by going near the door and sniffing, but not always. She does still have accidents from time to time, but training should be easy since she already gets the general idea. She just needs a consistent routine.<br/><P><br/>She is learning to play fetch -- and she will expect a little treat when she brings the ball back and puts it at your feet. She also likes to chase her toys in the house. Again, she looks for a little treat when she brings it back. She also likes the rawhide chewies, and lately has been taking them outside and burying them in the yard. Then every time she goes out, she checks to see that they're still there. <br/><P><br/>She loves to go for walks, and is very good on the leash. She also loves to be brushed, and will lay patiently on her side as long as you continue to brush.<br/><P><br/>She’s good with older kids, and comfortable with dogs we meet when walking in the neighborhood.<br/><P><br/>Maggie needs someone who will be home with her most of the time to give her attention, as she is still insecure.
