Maggie's Story

Meet Maggie
Maggie is a young adult blue merle French Bulldog who is finally ready for the part of her story where she gets to be somebody's beloved dog.

Maggie came to rescue from a local shelter after clearly not receiving the care she deserved. Visual cues, hand signals and consistent routines can become her language, and her family will need to be mindful of keeping her safe in situations where she can't hear what's happening around her.
Her hearing loss doesn't define her—it is simply part of Maggie.

Now, we do need to discuss one other matter:
Maggie has discovered food.
She actually arrived in rescue underweight, and in our enthusiasm to convince her that meals would never be scarce again... well, we overachieved a little.
Maggie is currently carrying some extra weight, so her forever family needs to be committed to appropriate portions, good nutrition and regular activity to help her reach and maintain a healthy weight. Keeping her lean is especially important for her long-term health and mobility.

Mostly, though, Maggie needs what she should have had all along:
A safe home.
People who adore her.
Consistency.
Comfort.
And the security of knowing she isn't going anywhere again.
She doesn't need someone to feel sorry for her.
She needs someone to fall completely in love with her. And frankly, Maggie makes that part pretty easy.

Adoption fee: $495
Fully vetted and up to date on vaccinations.
