Meet Mae

Miss Mae was found laying in a ditch in Corsicana. Someone found her and dropped her off at the shelter where she ended up on the euthanasia list. Words do not describe how perfect Mae is. She has the calmest demeanor and craves the attention she never received. The vet believes in her 1.5 years of existence, she was used as a breeding machine. She has scars all over her body that indicate she probably tried to escape numerous times. Either she got lucky and ran away or she was dumped because she was no longer useful. Mae is skin and bones right along with being hear worm positive. She has started on a slow kill treatment. She had all of her vaccinations and microchip but won't be spayed until she gains weight. We believe she is a black mouth cur/hound/anatolian shepherd. She gets along with all size dogs. Hasn't been tested around cats or kids, but her foster believes she would do great. Mae will soon be available for adoption.
