Madison's Story

Meet Madison

Madison is a petite miniature poodle with a gentle soul and a spark of spunk just waiting to shine. At around 2.5 years old, she's just beginning to discover what it means to be a beloved companion after spending her early life in a breeder setting, likely confined to a cage. Because of this, the world can feel like a big, unfamiliar place-but Madison is bravely learning, one small step at a time.

Though naturally timid, Madison has a playful, spirited side that peeks out once she starts to feel safe. She may do a happy little bounce, follow you from room to room, or quietly observe everything you do with curious eyes. Earning her trust is incredibly rewarding-when Madison chooses to come close, you know you've been given something special.

Madison will thrive in a calm, patient home with people who understand that love isn't rushed. She'll need help building confidence with everyday things like walking on a leash, house training, and meeting new people.

She's not the kind of dog who will immediately jump into your arms-but with time, kindness, and consistency, Madison has all the potential to become a deeply devoted companion. Watching her grow and discover joy in the simple things will be a beautiful journey for the right adopter.

If you have a soft spot for shy dogs and the patience to let them bloom, Madison may just be your perfect match.

All CSHS pups are spayed/neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, 4DX negative (if older than 6 months), dewormed and microchipped.

To meet this sweet pup, fill out an application today! https://www.carverscotths.org/dogs

Carver-Scott Humane Society's Adoption Policy
At the Carver Scott Humane Society, we follow an Adopter's Welcome philosophy. This means that instead of an overwhelming application process, home visits, and hoop jumping, we take a conversational approach to our adoptions. Our goal is to make adoptions possible and help you be a successful pet parent! Once an application is submitted, we take applications as "first-come, first-considered." While this does not guarantee that the first applicant will adopt the animal of their choice, it does guarantee that we will process the application all the way through before moving on to the next application in line. If you see an animal you are interested in, please apply as soon as possible! This does not obligate you to the animal in case you change your mind, but may assist in securing your place in line for that animal.
