Madison is available for adoption!<br/><br/>This beautiful little 2 year old came to us after being found as a stray. Based on where she was found there is no doubt she was probably a hunting dog who wasn't a good hunter. Like many of the hunting dogs we take in, she probably hasn't been around a lot of people so she is a little shy at first when she meets you. She also doesn't like to go outside by herself, she either wants another dog or her person to come out with her. She is skittish around loud noises.<br/><br/>Once she realizes you are nice, she does love you and wants to be with you. She loves her foster dad and is very excited when she sees him. She also likes other dogs and really does need another dog in the home to kind of show her the ropes and teach her how to be a family pet. She hasn't shown any resource guarding or aggression. She is learning to walk on a leash. She is also still working on housebreaking.
