Meet Macy!<br/><br/>Macy is a 1-year-old and 33 lb pup who was found tethered outside before coming to the shelter. She was friendly from the beginning and if you ever meet her... she'll end up in your lap.<br/><br/>She's easy to leash and manageable on walks despite occasionally pulling when she's excited. She's also very affectionate and has no problem getting right into your personal space. <br/><br/>Macy knows sit, takes treats gently, and redirects easily when she gets a little too excited. She may jump up, spin in circles, or have a quick burst of zoomies, but she's able to settle back down and focus on her handler.<br/><br/>She's a big fan of fetch, especially with a ball. She'll run after it, bring it back, and then usually come looking for some affection afterward. She's also shown positive, wiggly body language when meeting both large and small dogs through the fence. <br/><br/>Macy is playful, social, affectionate, and very much still a puppy. She's ready for a home that can keep up with her energy while helping her learn that her family is here to stay.<br/><br/>As always, we strongly recommend that resident dogs meet any new potential canine family members. If bringing a resident dog for a dog to dog test, please bring proof of Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella vaccines.<br/><br/>To meet/adopt, visit us in Greensboro, NC from 12-4pm any day except Tuesdays; no appointment needed.
