Meet Macaroon!<br/><br/>Macaroon is a boxer mix (we have the DNA test!) with an estimated birthdate of 07/10/2025. She is a friendly, happy little girl who will greet you with as many kisses as you’ll let her. She is spunky, sweet, cuddly, and loves her 5 cat siblings. She doesn’t love the car so being more of a homebody is her vibe. She likes to snuggle on the couch and watch movies with her person. Her favorite treats are apples and peanut butter! She’s been to two weeks of training and knows all of her manners, like the good girl she is! Macaroon can be dog-selective and because of this, she would thrive best as the only dog in the home. With the right owner committed to continuing training, she would do fine with slow introductions with other dogs. Macaroon is a total cat lady and would love to have some cat siblings!<br/><br/>She is up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations and monthly preventatives. Her adoption fee is $350 and covers the cost of age-appropriate vaccinations, microchip, and her upcoming spay. We require adopters to be within a reasonable distance of Richmond or Virginia Beach in order to complete spay/neuter with our approved clinics. <br/><br/>Note: Sending a Petfinder inquiry is not submitting an application. We require a completed adoption application to move forward with adoption.<br/><br/>Beagles and Bentleys has an across-the-board evaluative process that we apply to every application we review that prioritizes our animals in need. We conduct a vet reference check (all resident dogs must be altered/up to date on dhpp/rabies and monthly preventatives) and a virtual home visit call where we discuss the adoption process and see your home.
