MacKinnon's Story
MacKinnon is a sweet, athletic boy who is eager to please. He’s proven himself to be a good running companion, already completing runs up to 3 miles. MacKinnon is working on his leash manners and learning not to jump on people.

The world is an exciting place for him so he wants to investigate everything. He has a strong prey drive and will chase after any squirrel or rabbit if given the chance. His excitement outdoors is manageable with a front-clip harness and slip lead.

Inside the home, MacKinnon has been a wonderful houseguest. He has not been destructive, settles well, and sleeps quietly through the night in his crate. He is calmer around the cat, though their interactions are limited. With proper introductions, I believe he could learn to settle into a home with a cat.

Toys haven’t captured his attention much but he is food motivated. He really enjoys chews such as Himalayan yak milk chews and makes quick work of them. Overall, MacKinnon is an affectionate, well-tempered pup who adores people.
